Alaska 2024: Endicott Arm
I don't really know naval terminology so I'm going to have a hard time explaining what Endicott Arm is. It's a passage of water between some mountains that is between Juneau and Icy Strait Point in Alaska, in an intricate map of channels. At the end of Endicott Arm is the Dawes Glacier. The Norwegian Bliss cruised down Endicott Arm. For most of that ride, we watched from the indoor observation lounge while listening to music and drinking (in my case non-alcoholic) cocktails. Toward the end, I moved to our balcony for a better view. At the very end, it became clear that the best view was on the opposite side of the ship, and I ran down to the walkway that runs around the ship on the outside on floor 7 I think it is, in my socks, and stood outside and looked at the glacier.Â
